I’m not a Democrat or a Republican. What I’m against is the bullying coming from the right. Always from the right. Always. This is a flat-out attempt to ridicule the bullies and throw some light on the heroes. I've got lots to work with.

I don't own any of these images. The disdainful comments are all mine, however.

To a man I never knew, but whose memory lived on.

Today, I think of my great-uncle, Wilbur.  Seaman 1st Class.  Died, December 7, 1941 in the attack on Pearl Harbor, where he was serving on the USS Oklahoma. Awarded the Purple Heart, posthumously.

Brother to my grandfather, Lt. L. C. Ballance, USN.

Iraq, 2003:  A very George W. Bush Thanksgiving
Bush arrived in Iraq secretly, spent two whole hours with the troops he put in harm’s way, then high-tailed his cowardly ass back to the safe confines of the U.S. of A. Bush went there for a photo op. The turkey in the picture is plastic.  To me, this is one of the most cowardly and disgusting acts of his presidency. And that’s saying a lot.
