I’m not a Democrat or a Republican. What I’m against is the bullying coming from the right. Always from the right. Always. This is a flat-out attempt to ridicule the bullies and throw some light on the heroes. I've got lots to work with.

This article is amazing. I highly suggest reading it! I think Elizabeth Smart has some really amazing points (chewed up gum) and that this is something that needs to be changed.

Wikipedia gives Romney’s history, showing him to have dropped out of college at 19 and, instead of going to Vietnam as most Americans, he left for France but not covered by any deferment other than one claimed as part of a “private agreement” to name all Mormon children “ministers” according to Mitt’s biographers.
The US Constitution says otherwise, from page one onward. There is no language in the Federal Registersupporting this claim, no court decisions and, as there were no African Americans allowed in the Mormon Church at the time, such a decision would have also been a violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1965 and the Equal Protection provisions of the Constitution.
It wasn’t until 1978 that the challenges to the Mormon Church as legitimate due to their racists policies was settled by the IRS allowing them the legal status of a religious organization. Prior to that, they had the same tax standing as the KKK.
No ACLU lawsuit, no complaints against the then “whites only” Mormon Church and a bizarre number of contradictory stories to make Romney seem like something other than a felon, not very convincing stories at that. […]

Expressed doubt on London’s ability to run the Olympics successfully: “There are a few things that were disconcerting, the stories about the private security firm not having enough people – the supposed strike of the immigration and customs officials, that obviously is not something which is encouraging.”
Sounding insulted, David Cameron’s response was: “We are holding an Olympic Games in one of the busiest, most active, bustling cities anywhere in the world,” Cameron said. “Of course it’s easier if you hold an Olympic Games in the middle of nowhere.”
There was then a response from Salt Lake City Mayor’s office - “We’d love to have him and are happy to send a map so he doesn’t run into any trouble locating the middle of nowhere.”
He then** confirmed that he’d met with the head of MI6**. May not sound like anything big but in the UK it’s still a pretty secret organisation and not something which you’d expect him to admit to.
Further cockups from Romney saw him call Ed Milliband “Mr Leader” - “Like you, Mr Leader, I look forward to our conversations this morning”
As mentioned above, Boris Johnson stepped in at Hyde Park and ridiculed Romney in front of 60,000 people: “The Geiger counter of Olympo-mania is going to go zoink! off the scale! …..There’s a guy called Mitt Romney who wants to know if London is ready. Are we ready?” Later in his short speech he referenced “Yes we can!” - a term I’ll expect you all know familiar to the last presidential campaign in America.
Oh, Mittens.
