I’m not a Democrat or a Republican. What I’m against is the bullying coming from the right. Always from the right. Always. This is a flat-out attempt to ridicule the bullies and throw some light on the heroes. I've got lots to work with.

I don't own any of these images but the snark is all mine.

If gerrymandering clearly helps Republicans maintain the house, how does “both sides do it” rhetoric mean to dissenting conservative commenters?

liberalsarecool:

John Boehner, the highest ranking Republican, is from a gerrymandered safe district in Ohio.

Gerrymandering is the core of the GOP strategy.

"Both sides do it" is the weakest comment you can make while we are in a present-time gerrymandered House.

"Both sides do it" is Republican mayonnaise: it has no substance, holds their arguments together and smears the other side.

By November, swing voters won’t know whether they’re voting for a Republican or saving themselves 15 percent or more on car insurance.

I’ve noticed that most liberals would take a philosophy class over an economic class.  While conservatives would much rather economics.  Which one’s more useful in politics?

Welllllllll, a class in philosophy would allow a liberal to weigh different perspectives before coming to a reasonable conclusion.  A class in economics would allow a Republican to use terminology without understanding it and destroy the economy.
